This special episode of Big Blend Radio's "Wine Time with Peggy" Show was recorded on Oct. 31, 2023 at LDV Winery's vineyard near Willcox in Southeast Arizona. Peggy Fiandaca and her winemaker husband talk about their wines and vineyard, and walk us through three tastings of their new Viogner which is currently aging in two types of French Oak barrels, and stainless steel. It's a fascinating process that shares the complexities of winemaking and vast variety of ever-changing flavor profiles as the wine ages.
LDV Winery produces single-varietal wines wines produced from Rhone-varietal grapes - Viognier, Grenache, Syrah, and Petite Sirah. You can taste the volcanic soils and mountain influence in each bottle. Visit their tasting room in Scottsdale or online here: https://ldvwinery.com/
