Walking Destinations on the Historic Jefferson Highway

Created by the Jefferson Highway Association which was originally founded in 1915, the Jefferson Highway is an international highway, also known as "The Pines to the Palms Highway," that runs from Winnipeg, Canada to New Orleans, Louisiana. Learn more at:

This episode of Big Blend Radio's 4th Thursday "Jefferson Highway" Show features Tom Alyea, author of the "Wandering Walks of Wonder" books, and Roger Bell, President of the Jefferson Highway Association. 

An avid walker, hiker, and author of numerous books, guidebooks, and journals, Tom Alyea spends most of his time walking across the United States and around the world finding ways that he can rediscover a new life on the trail and motivate others to do the same.
