Science-Based Children‘s Book Author Elaine A. Powers

This episode of Big Blend Radio's 4th Wednesday "Tucson Sisters in Crime" Show features children's book author Elaine A. Powers.

Elaine A. Powers, originally from Peoria, IL, currently resides in Tucson, AZ. After a career as a laboratory biologist, she is now pursuing her dream of writing science-based children’s books, murder mysteries and audio theatre scripts. Elaine continues her work as a citizen scientist for iguana conservation, serving on the IUCN Iguana Specialist Group. She is a founding member of the Tucson Sisters in Crime chapter and President of the Tucson Poetry Society and Vice President of the Arizona State Poetry Society.
